My First Gimmick

Well I present to you my first gimmick idea called 'Seven Days, Seven Lists'. For the next week each day I will present you with a list. Everyone lives lists, and so do I. Our first list is in honour of Belinda Stronach new cabinet position (I left off Dan McTeague on purpose and also Don Boudria since he is retiring soon).

Glad to see Bryon on there!

Your list is incomplete. It fails to include Maurizio Bevilacqua, easily the most able and qualified of all Liberal MPs not currently in Cabinet.

Although he was a longtime Martin supporter, the only reason he is not in Cabinet now is because Martin's staff had a hissy fit over his refusal to play games with his Cabinet oath.

He should be Number One on the list to join Cabinet - unless Paul Martin decides that he is too qualified to hold a Cabinet post.

Bevilacqua believes in a balanced budget that includes reasonable spending, paying down the debt and tax cuts. Whoops, this might disqualify him since he may not be able to stomach Paul's recent spending spree to buy votes.

I noticed that you didn't have Carolyn Parrish on the list. And how about Tom Wappel?

Yeah but they will never make it cause their fathers are not high up in the socialistic/globalistic/UN loving elites cabal that run this world.

    Too bad suckasS!

    go walsh go. cough. ahem.

anyhoo, smith is bang on re. Maurizio.

and Keith Martin, unless he has a speaking-in-tongues conversion to Dosanjh-style healthcare won't make it anywhere near having PC after his name. The explicit (if principled) 2-tier healthcare stance makes him damaged goods.

And Hedy Fry!? The quip about either Joe Peschisolido or Keith Martin (forget which) when they crossed was Reynolds' wish that they enjoy sitting next to her. It about sums it up: she blew her chance, big time.

And what about, say, Dan McTeague and his ilk, Ontarian Martinites doomed to see their longtime support count for nothing when it comes to getting a car and driver?
